Max & Bellas Smokehouse was started in 2011 in Saxton's parking lot during Ice Fest with a smoker and tent. We wanted to see if the community would support a BBQ restaurant in downtown Plymouth; it was received very well by the area! It took us time and patience to find the right location for our setup. Aaron Peggs, the owner and Chef lived in Memphis for 8 years. Over the last couple of years, he helped a friend open this BBQ concept in Ann Arbor, Michigan and we felt it was time to bring this home to our community. It was important for us to build a family business and to leave a legacy for our children. Max & Bellas Smokehouse is open Wednesday-Sunday from 11am-7pm or until the food runs out! Times will change with DTP events. Our regular menu offers Brisket, Ribs, Pork, Chicken and Dirty Rice. We have 5 signature sides as well as 5 rotating soups. Specials include: Friday - Smoked Salmon Meal; Saturday - Beef Rib Meal; Sunday - Lamb Chop Meal.
