As a Felician Sisters Sponsored Ministry, Montessori Center of Our Lady has provided enriching, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate early childhood (infants through kindergarten) and elementary (first through sixth grade) programs for 47 years. Following the example of "caring for children" initiated by Blessed Mary Angela, Montessori Center of Our Lady seeks to provide the foundation for early learning and serve the needs of working parents and families. We aim to nurture and help your child reach their fullest potential by enhancing their physical, intellectual, spiritual, emotional, cognitive, and social skills. The Montessori curriculum encourages your child to remain actively involved in the learning process, experience various activities appropriate to each age and stage of development, and pursue individual interests in the context of life in the community and the world. Spanish, Young Children's Worship, Yoga, and Art History Enrichment classes occur weekly (toddlers through elementary). Through these experiences, your child strengthens and refines their sense of self by integrating language, mathematics, geography, science, and more into their mind and body. The Montessori Center of Our Lady is a certified, private institution licensed by the State of Michigan to offer quality Montessori education to children ages eight weeks through sixth grade! The Montessori Center of Our Lady is a member of the Michigan Montessori Society and the International Montessori Council.
