About
Founded in 1969, the Plymouth Community Arts Council has consistently provided arts programs to its primary service area, a community of 120,000 that includes students of Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, the third largest school district in Michigan. PCAC Memberships support: Quality arts programming for our greater community, including: art exhibits, adult art education, film and music partnership programming, youth theatre, outreach and service, scholarships, youth homeschool curriculum, afterschool art and summer camps, and facility rentals for private events, including family milestones, business or social club meetings.
The volunteer-based Art Enrichment Program (AEP) serves over 10,000 students in Plymouth-Canton public, private and charter schools with art history and appreciation units presented in the classroom. The Wilcox Wednesday Music in the Park series provides free outdoor concerts in Kellogg Park for audiences numbering over 20,000 each year, with 2024 marking the 40th year of this summer family tradition.
Memberships are tax deductible and include discounts on classes. If you would like to know more about current programming, visit the PCAC website. To schedule a visit or find out more about membership, please contact us at 734-416-4278.
